Why sex is condemned
Why is sex condemned throughout the world? Because, it leads you to the height of unconsciousness. Same is true with all drugs and intoxications.
When two partners are at the height of orgasm, they both tend to consume each other’s entire bodies. Though sex is an interaction between two (or more than two) individuals, but in fact it is an interaction between two material realities, each person using other as one’s tool or material possession in the moment of sex.
Because, each individual tries to satisfy the hunger of the beast in oneself by squeezing, consuming and engulfing the body of one’s partners. Everyone’s interest is to satisfy one’s own hunger through the bodies of the others. That’s why you see, just after sex, when one reaches climax, and gets free from the orgasm, they immediately find each other’s body as burden. Now they want their own space, that’s why they turn their faces away from each other.
At the time of sex if you can see the impulse inside a person, you can feel how that impulse makes a person a beast like; if not a beast, at least self centered. One is bothered about one’s own pleasures.
Today, since we have been a little bit civilized, that’s why we may not act and behave like beast; but our inner composition of our mind is the same. That’s why at the surface we seem to have been changed, but our inner mental constitution still manifests itself in the act of rape, lust, sexual exploitation, prostitution, etc. This small poem depicts the animal in the sex partners:
After sex, a couple talks together
to assume an identity,
assuming there is a further
dimension from which interest
starts again in one another.
They then, turn away
with an animal need
to eat and drink.
New Dimensions of Sex
Now let us come to just a new dimension of sex. We can make our act and experience of sex very divine and blissful, if we add consciousness to the whole act. Just try this experiment and proceed to sex in the following steps:
1. Don’t get involved in sex all of a sudden without prior plan. Make a plan and proceed accordingly.
2. As the planned time approaches, both of you proceed to the room very religiously. There should be complete privacy without any disturbance in your place. You should be mentally free from all your engagements and works. Don’t forget to switch off your mobiles and telephones.
3. Now as you enter the room, light an incense stick, which you use in your payer room.Deodorant or perfumes will not do. Use a vey soothing incense stick which you use during worship.
4. Now both of you sit at a distance from each other in a relaxed position. Now look into the eyes of each other, gently gaze each other.
5. Now gently, very gently, take off your own clothes and sit in a relaxed manner. Now start watching each other and every part of each other’s body very calmly. Keep watching each other very gently, very religiously. Keep a very important thing in your mind that during the whole process of this entire experiment, don’t talk to each other at all, otherwise it will become a worldly activity. Don’t talk to each other at all. Watch each other from top to bottom. Just watch and don’t interpret. Simply watch without talking or interpreting. Sometimes, in between, close your eyes for a moment, then again open your eyes gently and start watching each other again.
6. Now gently touch each other through palms. Touch each other gently, very gently, and watch the touch. Just watch it, don’t interpret it. Remain in touch for a while and keep watching the touch without interpreting it.
7. Now, come closer, move closer to each other. Touch each other’s body, not using palms, but though body to body and feel the sensation. Watch the sensation. Just watch it, just watch it and don’t get excited. Just watch the sensation of touch of each other’s body. Just watch, keep watching; don’t be in a hurry. Do everything slowly, gently and in a very relaxed manner.
8. Now ask your lady partner to sit on your lap, facing each other and keeping the breasts and chests in touch. Embrace each other making the maximum part of your bodies to be in touch of each other’s. Touch the entire body with your whole body and watch the touch. Just watch it, whether it is hot or cool. Watch the touch; just watch it without interpreting it. Breathe very slowly. Don’t let your breath to be fast at any time during this experiment. Be very, very slow in this entire act. Never be in a hurry. Remain aware of the sensation, and remain aware of yourself.
9. Now gently penetrate if you wish or remain in contact with each other as previously. If you are penetrating, just watch the sensation of the penetration when your genital organ enters that of your partner. Just be aware of the sensation and keep your breath very slow. Watch the sensation and be aware of the sensation.
Watchfulness is the key
If you are very slow and watchful, during the whole process, you can prolong this act for hours. When you retire, then also, keep maintaining your self-awareness.
Now analyze the whole experiment honestly and objectively.
New realizations during and after Conscious Sex
If you have gone through the whole process slowly and watchfully, you will have the following experiences:
1. Now, you are not trying to consume the body of other’s. You are not self centered. You are not simply trying to draw happiness for yourself. Rather your whole endeavor is to give happiness to you partner. This is the qualitative difference.
2. When you had been doing sex earlier, it used to be the interaction of one materiality with another. Now it is the interaction between the consciousnesses. Since there is, in fact, no two different consciousnesses, so though the instrument of body one entity is meeting with its totality. In fact our partial reality is meeting with the self, the totality of the existence. The whole process leads to the realization of God. God is nothing, but the totality of the existence.
3. Earlier your sexual act used to be for a very short period of time. But now through this method you can enjoy sex for hours. And this sex is divine leading you to the realization of God. In this state only, you can understand the real meaning of love.
Lord Shiva was the exponent of this tantric meditation. That’s why we worship Lord Shiva as the God of Love and Marriage. Go though the whole process very religiously. This will be the true worship of Lord Shiva.
