On Nov 13, 2024, I had to go to Trivandrum Central Railway Station to receive someone who was coming from Ambala to Thiruvananthapuram for Kerala Tour. So, after I came back from my office and I got refreshed and after having my dinner, I got ready to go to the Railway Station. I boarded an auto-rickshaw. In the half-way, I started feeling uneasy; my BP shot up, I started sweating profusely. As I reached the railway Station, I managed to get down from the auto-rickshaw and climbed the stairs towards the platform. But, as I reached the outside the platform, I happened to collapse down.
The crowd gathered and someone from the medical centre in the Railway Station picked me on the wheel chair and was taken to First Aid Room of the medical centre. But after some time, the doctor present there called an ambulance and I was taken to PNR Hospital and finally admitted there in the Emergency Ward. My MRI was done and then an injection was administered to me immediately. I was in my consciousness. I came to know that a brain stroke happened to me and consequently a blood clot was formed in my Pons area of the brain.
The doctor had informed my friend who was coming to Trivandrum from Ambala, for who I had gone to the Railway Station to receive. She then informed my mom and sister who were in Delhi, about the happening with me. At the time of the incident, I had been living alone in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
After my friend reached the hospital, I was admitted in the ICU as someone known to me or my relative was essential to be present there for me to be admitted in the hospital’s ICU. After some time, I had realized that the right side of my body got paralysed. I was not able to stand on my own; I could not walk; I could not move my right hand nor I could open my palm of the right hand. My speech got affected as there was mumbling in my speech.
I felt that then I was dependent on others for even my day-to-day basic requirement. I believed that I had got handicapped and dependent on others forever. I was a shock to me as my writing and talking ability was quite essential for my profession. I felt like my life had got ruined forever. I did not want to live anymore.
After some days, I was shifted to a private room. I was told by the doctor that I could recover and come back to normal life again if I take medicine properly and physiotherapy sessions regularly.
After I came to Delhi, while remaining passive most of the time I happened to recall that I myself was a mental wellness professional, a psychotherapist, spiritual healer and spiritual guide. Apart from taking my medicines and physiotherapy sessions regularly, I started my spiritual healing and Higher Consciousness practice and consequently I started recovering very fast.
Within ten days I was able to stand on my feet and walk again. I was able to go to wash room on my own and bathe myself. My voice started recovering as it had been getting clearer day-by-day.
Now I am recovered almost by 95 %, trying to come back to my normal life.
When I think back to the whole development, I felt that this incident had added something valuable to my whole spiritual journey. About my new spiritual realization, I will talk in Part 2 of this blog.
